We’re heading to Spain to open the season in dazzling style! Albéniz’s flamenco-tinged rhythms first sweep us into a fiery Andalusia before giving way to the romantic lyricism of Arbós. The light then shifts with Turina’s impressionistic verve and takes on the hues of Cassadó’s Arab-Spanish influences. Throughout this musical journey the shadow of the guitar and the warmth of Iberian landscapes resonate glowing with a distinctly Mediterranean intensity.
