Mercure Remix

A rare opportunity to hear Pierre Mercure’s Incandescence (1961) and Manipulations (1963). These two electroacoustic works were composed for dance productions created alongside artists such as Françoise Riopelle Jean-Paul Mousseau Rita Letendre Armand Vaillancourt and Pierre Moretti. Theresa Transistor—an electroacoustic improv quartet —brings the festivities to a close with a Remix based on sketches fragments and work excerpts by Pierre Mercure. In collaboration with Akousma
